Add a warehouse

Add a warehouse:

  1. Go to Configuration > Administration > Warehouses.
  2. Click New to add a blank warehouse record.
  3. Fill in the name and description fields.
  4. Choose the category (i.e., Hardware or Software) of the warehouse. This field is mandatory.
  5. Choose your permissions:
    • Can Remove means hardware can be taken from the warehouse and redistributed.
    • Can Add means hardware can be added to the warehouse.
  6. Click + beside Employee Contact field to add contact information. A list of employees appears.
  7. Scroll through the list, and select the employee who you want as the contact.
  8. Click + beside the Address field to add address information. A list of addresses appears.
  9. Scroll through the list, and click to select the address for the item.
  10. Click Apply. The Warehouse Record appears in the Warehouse list.

Edit a warehouse:

  1. Go to Configuration > AdministrationWarehouses.
  2. Click the warehouse’s entry. The Warehouse Details page opens.
  3. Make changes to the fields as needed (Name, Description, Type, Can Add, Can Remove, Employee Contact, and Address).
  4. Click Apply to save changes.
