Add a warehouse
Add a warehouse:
- Go to Configuration > Administration > Warehouses.
- Click New to add a blank warehouse record.
- Fill in the name and description fields.
- Choose the category (i.e., Hardware or Software) of the warehouse. This field is mandatory.
- Choose your permissions:
- Can Remove means hardware can be taken from the warehouse and redistributed.
- Can Add means hardware can be added to the warehouse.
- Click + beside Employee Contact field to add contact information. A list of employees appears.
- Scroll through the list, and select the employee who you want as the contact.
- Click + beside the Address field to add address information. A list of addresses appears.
- Scroll through the list, and click to select the address for the item.
- Click Apply. The Warehouse Record appears in the Warehouse list.
Edit a warehouse:
- Go to Configuration > Administration > Warehouses.
- Click the warehouse’s entry. The Warehouse Details page opens.
- Make changes to the fields as needed (Name, Description, Type, Can Add, Can Remove, Employee Contact, and Address).
- Click Apply to save changes.
